Can all damage to photos be repaired? There are limits to everything, and each damaged photo is different and may require a different approach to repair it. Some damage cannot be repaired. Examples are; very out of focus photos, extremely dark photos, photos with missing portions that can't be replicated. How can I get my photo that requires repair to you? There are quite a few ways to send your photo to me. It can be scanned at a resolution of at least 300 dpi and emailed. The photo can be mailed to me although I don't recommend it due to the possibility of it being lost in transit. Therefore, emailing it is the best advice I can give you. Am I informed what the cost will be before the repair is begun? Yes, I evaluate every photo for reparability and let you know the cost up front, although I may do all or part of the restoration first to determine how extensive the repair will be. In that case, I send you a small copy of the restored print, as well as some examples in some cases before you are billed. The samples may or may not be completely restored, but on the way toward completion when I indicate the cost to you. How much does a restoration cost? Cost of restoration on the average runs between $45.00 and $85.00. The restored photo is printed in one 8 X 10 and (2) 5 X 7 copies to be mailed back to you. These prints are included in the repair price. Do you offer discounts for large orders, or organizations? If you have more than one photo for restoration, then you receive a discount up to 25% off the regular price. If you are Active duty military or a family member of an active duty service member I offer repairs at 50% off. Also hand oil painted photos on canvas are offered to Active Duty Personnel at this discounted price. Can I order extra prints? Yes, extra prints can be ordered at any time. SEE PRICE LIST
