Same photo hand colored with artists oil paint and mounted on artist canvas.

Oil paintings can be done from black and white, or a color photo.  For color photos, I can remove the color and create a black and white photo, print on artist's canvas and hand color.  I use artist grade oil paints and artist grade canvas.  I can also repair a faded, damaged print before hand painting.  An 8 X 10 completed canvas is $129.00.  Photos can be scanned at 300+ DPI and emailed to us.  Email it to us for restoration   No payment is due until work is done and approved by you.  This is true of photo repair as well.  See examples below.

Perhaps the only photo you have of a family member is from a locket that is almost 100 years old.  Because it was small (actual size above), out of focus and faded, and she passed away before you were born,  you didn't have any idea what your Great Grandmother looked like....

*The original chemicals used to develop a picture brown and fade over the years.

*Older color photos used vegetable coloring, which fades away over the years.

With color correction, improved focus, repair of stains, cracks and other marks that precious memory is brought back to life.

Photo taken around 1918 was out of focus, and had deteriorated through the years with some wrinkles and the corner torn when it was removed from the frame.
